第一次知道小红莓合唱团是在上个学期的写作课上，老师总是在课间的时候给我们放这首歌，当时感觉MTV的背景都是灰暗色的，让人恐惧。看了歌词，也就不足为奇了。

当时看MTV的时候感觉特别的气氛，画面的基调很灰暗，时常可以发现带着武器的美国大兵鹤破损严重的房子，一些无家可归的小孩，眼中流露出恐惧。我开始在网上找这首歌，转过来反复听，然后去搜索了一下Zombie的意思：根据牛津字典Zombie有三个意思, 一. 靠巫术起死回生的僵尸二. 迟钝无生气的人三. 动作呆板而不动脑筋的人。它以向Zombie 叙说的方式，暗指了战争带来的祸乱。粗砺的吉他，强劲的鼓声，以及主唱撕裂声音般的唱腔，向战争发出了直指人心的控诉。
