Ted Nash is a English entrepreneur. Alreadynoteworthy for a number of pub humour-themed viral hits, he isready to leave his youthful endeavours behind with the imminentlaunch of Appdaq, an app which lets users trade virtual shares insome of the App Store’s most successful downloads.
Nash first hit the headlines in 2010, with Little Gossip, a websitewhich allowed users to anonymously post gossip about their peers inschool and college. Despite not having been conceived with anymalicious intent, the site very quickly garnered negative publicityfrom the tabloid press, in part aided by its phenomenal growth in avery short time frame.
The website received 33,000 hits within itsfirst hour of launching. Nash looks back on this time without anyregret, telling : I understand that if I am to beoriginal and successful, I will undoubtedly face mistakes andfailures along the way. Summing up the experience he said: Ican’t promise I won’t make any more accidental mistakes but nexttime I will be much better prepared.
